These terms apply when you order food or book a table with The Everest Tandoori. By placing an order you agree to them.
Placing an order
When you place an order online, you'll be asked to pay before it's confirmed. Your order is accepted once payment succeeds and you receive confirmation. We may occasionally be unable to fulfil an order — for example if a dish has sold out or we're at capacity — in which case we'll contact you and arrange a full refund.
Prices & payment
All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. The price you pay is the price shown at checkout. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never store your card details. If a price is shown incorrectly due to an obvious error, we'll contact you before taking payment or dispatching your order.
A 10% discount applies to collection orders, applied automatically at checkout.
Collection
Collection orders can be picked up from 8–9 Meadway Precinct, Honey End Lane, Tilehurst, Reading RG30 4AA during our opening hours. Please bring your order reference. We'll do our best to have your order ready at the time indicated.
Delivery
- Delivery is free within a 3-mile radius of the restaurant, and £3 beyond that.
- There is a £15 minimum order for delivery.
- Delivery times are estimates and can vary at busy periods. Please make sure someone is available to receive the order at the address given.
Allergens & food safety
Our food is prepared in a kitchen that handles nuts, dairy, gluten and other allergens, so we cannot guarantee any dish is completely free from traces. If you have an allergy, please tell us before ordering — see our allergen information. Our chicken, lamb and buff are halal; we also serve pork dishes.
Cancellations & changes
Because food is prepared fresh to order, an order usually can't be cancelled once the kitchen has started it. If you need to change or cancel, call us straight away on 0118 957 1118 and we'll help where we can. See our refund policy for more.
Table bookings can be changed or cancelled by calling us — we'd appreciate as much notice as possible.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights as a consumer, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that can't be excluded by law. Beyond that, our responsibility is limited to the value of your order.
